So, by a happy accident we ended up on a botched Craigslist buy in front of the OG @bobsbigboyburbank in all it’s neon glory. Hmmm, that's tough. I think I like gouache more, but acrylics are more versatile? You can do a whole lot of things with acrylics that you can't with gouache, and gouache is hard to make smooth, blended areas in a painting. Every time I paint with it I have to try and think a little more graphically to achieve what I want. The real selling point between the two (for me, anyways) is the drying time. I've pulled my hair out before painting with acrylic because I'll mix up the perfect color for what I need, and then my the time I go back to reload my paintbrush the color will be dried into nothing but plastic and I'll have to use a lot more paint and mix to get the same color again. With gouache you don't have to worry about that. I'm probably making neither of them appealing at this point, but, er, painting is fun! Promise.

Thanks Glory! And I'm not an expert with gouache, but I can tell you essentially what I just told Maria. Gouache is SUPER tempermental, and you really need to pay attention to the paint/water ratios while you're mixing color. If you have too little water, the paint will be a sticky goo that's not only hard to paint with, but will also crack off once it dries. On the other hand, if it has too much water, the painting can dust off when it dries, and (what I've found the most frustrating) if you try to layer while the paintbrush is too wet, you'll literally lift up the layers beneath and then your colors can get muddy and you'll lose some of your hard worked painting. with that said, it also has super vibrant colors and is really satisfying to paint with once you learn what not to do, and it can be reactivated with water at any time, so you don't waste a lot of paint like with acrylic. It also dries matt, which I personally like.  Hope my art rambling helped! I can wait to see what you make!

Your Moonlight theme is simply stunning and I had to use it as soon as I saw it. I'm using it on my personal blog and I want to use of it on my art blog as well, but I have a question. I tried the 400px post option and the banner doesn't resize to the right size. I don't know if its an issue with the code or how to use it, or if I just need to upload the pictures on a different size altogether. Can you help me? Thank you in advance.

AHH I'm so sorry, I made a little error in the coding, but it's a pretty easy fix <33 go to the coding and search for #lovelovelove img { and add 

width:402px;height:267px;that to it and then the second image should resize in the 400px post size.To find it easily just hit CTRL+F and type in "lovelovelove" and it should automatically take you t it.Also, thank you very much for using my theme, hehe <3
