It's kinda weird how birthdays just become more and more like regular days the older you get with that reminder at the back of your mind that you have aged by another year. It's humbling too I guess. I mean, I especially got that to feel now that I'm what…quarter of a century old, lmao.
I'll spare the super long corny thread about how getting older makes you appreciate life that more, as we all know that. But truth be told, I am grateful. Be it the life I got and where I am in it, people in my life right now, family, etc. Especially these days, it means a lot.
I guess if I have any advice for life as I turn another year older, it's just…appreciate it. We all have this one life to live. Don't waste it by putting your heart into something you don't feel for. Find what you love, do what you love and take a moment to just appreciate it.
This decade has taught me how important it is to appreciate the fact you're here, the people around you who are and just, who YOU are. We all are unique in our own way and deserve to be happy with who we are. Life is too short to take the wrong route. May you all find your path❤️
