What're your thoughts on the newest page? Specifically, do you think the 'summarized speech bubbles' are like.... what Lucy is choosing to hear? Or is it simply how the dialogue is presented?

i defo think it’s what Lucy is choosing to hear, the speech bubbles DEFINITELY have a like.. “nicer” way they could be interpreted! 

i.e.: “me me me” was followed-up in canon by “am i talking too much?” and mike saying basically “please keep talking”

& “this thing’s broken!” is implied to be caused by her thoughts of “me being not good at something would be upsetting, i dont want to do that :(”

& “video games are childish” couldve been interpreted as “i dont have time for video games because im working so hard” PLUS she immediately asked him if he could show her the game after she noticed him being upset. 

so!!! i think it’s lucy’s interpretation. which perhaps isn’t WRONG, but it’s not putting sandy’s words in the best light. & isn’t taking the entire context of the words into account.
