Soo i kinda abandoned this account ahaa.. I wanna try posting art once more so this post determines wether or not i do that!! Anyways, heres my new solarballs neptune design. Under the image there will be some of my hcs that u can see in the design!

The hcs:

– all the circles in his design either have a spiral or a dot inside. These are supposed to be religious symbols, representing stars. For in the early era of the galaxy, it was a common habbit for planets to worship stars, as they were their creators. With time, planets began seeing stars as opressors rather than saviours, and largely stopped worshipping them. However, by that time Neptune had already found himself isolated in the Kuiper Belt, so he never really stopped believing in stars as gods. In the current solarballs timeline, he rarely prays yet still praises the stars privately. Mostly stars from other star systems tho, not so much Sol.

– After his first moons died, a small ring started forming around his neck. He absolutely despised the idea of having his babies' corpses around his neck like jewellery, so he tried to claw it out. To no avail. Now he has some scars on his neck from all the clawing though.

– He has some features of deep sea fish, since in my au all planets have some animal traits

– He always wears long sleeves to hide the self inflicted scars he made during his isolation in the Kuipter Belt

– He has a scarf tied loosely around him (the one with a heart pattern). It was a gift from Planet X, who is Neptune's older brother in my au. He got it for his birthday, a few days before Planet X was ejected. Untill X came back, Neptune had no idea what happened to X, so he thought the scarf was a goodbye gift before his brother abandoned him. He never got rid of it.

– He has a little vintage watch on a chain, to keep track of time. He was given it by Uranus, to ensure he wouldn't forget it incase He goes crazy again.

– There are small pearls growing in his hair (I saw this hc on ao3 and I dont remember the creator, but full credits to them). He uses the pearls to make jewellery for his moons, uranus and occassionally the other planets.

– He has a little bag in which he holds: his glasses, a painbrush (in case uranus ever needs it), some asteroids with a particularly sentimental value, such as the ones that him and uranus used to pain when they were kids, a notepad (to do math and journal every now and then), any neccessities his moons might need and a sudoku!

– His hair is wavy and knotted. It used to be curly when he was a child, but as he grew up he stopped caring for it and its state worsened to this point.

– As its written above him, he has serious issues with self worth and is his first and biggest hater.

– His outfit is not one cloth, but rather multiple pieces of fabric put one on another, since his original clothes were made for a much hotter orbit.

Thats it, if anyones interested in my art, my hcs or my au pls tell me cuz I could honestly talk about it for hours. If interested in a particular period/celestial body tell me aswell pretty please!!🥹🙏
