Six years later, Val Hitherto comes home. A 1k epilogue.
happy @blaseballzinejam day !!!!
had a lot of fun this year, here are some of my submissions to zines ran by others (including a bonus one that did not get used for the where are they now which is v funny and you should go look at)
here's a link to the zines each are for:
Forecast Jazz Vol. 2 (x) featuring a collaboration with @pysics (also check out that cover!) The Big Blaseball Activity Book (x) Food and Fashion (x) Make It Blaseball (x) done in collaboration with @thehallstara All Players Have Been Released (x)
so ive been making a spreadsheet and updating it for every fall to put in all the players. and one of the things ive been tracking is stats. and i got it color coded like what blaseball players dot netlify does.
and anyway do you remember. that one fuckin season. wherein allergic reactions were like tuned kinda high anyway. and then nerd pacheco got the first superallergic reaction and thereby became Nerfed Pacheco
all this is to say,
who thinks they can guess which line in my spreadsheet contains the stats of Nerfed. Pacheco
[ID: Two separate digital illustrations of Nerd Pacheco and Val Hitherto from the video game Blaseball, rendered in the style of French impressionist, Berthe Morisot. In the first illustration, Nerd is seated in a rigid frame wheelchair while hanging the laundry outside. She is framed by wild undergrowth and a small hilltop cottage in the in the background. The scene is warm and calm, with mostly yellow undertones. The second illustration is of Val Hitherto in a black, floral kimono picking oranges. He stands in front of the trunk of the tree with his arms interwoven through the branches. His kimono has accents of orange, white, red, and light blue. The scene has a softer orange undertone. End ID.]
more art inspired by @waveridden’s fic series history, again
On a quest to draw every player that’s been on the pies
Dr. Nerd Pacheco and Dr. Haruta Byrd study necromancy. A deal is struck with Famous Owens. (Nerd's not-boyfriend, Hades Tiger, and a little more desperate than Nerd realized.)
- a short moment between nerd and famous, just before one of the many necromancies of season twenty three.
