Yet another “Keep Reading” Infinity War post. For those who need hope/catharsis (futurespoilers~!!), especially if you stayed for that post-credits scene.
I am so excited to see Brie Larson take this on. She’s a fantastic actor and Captain Marvel’s power levels are INSANE. ...And Lyshanna Lynch gonna play Monica Rambeau who ALSO takes on the Marvel mantle in the comics? I mean Wonder Woman is iconic, but I have a feeling Marvel gonna go hardcore on this womanism and I will scream.
Reading the 1st draft of FNL's pilot script
Coach was Eric Long instead of Eric Taylor; lots of references to his eyes throughout the script. "blazing blue eyes" etc.
Smash was "Bomber"
Matt lived with his mother not his grandmother, and Billy was Tim's dad instead of his brother
No scene with Tim's ESPN interview
End of the Semester
So it's nearing the end of the semester. For some reason, I usually get super stressed about 3/4 of the way through, then go through this super-chill out and glide through the last few weeks. It's so weird. All of my friends have a pretty linear curve as their stress as a function of time, but mine is more like the right hand side of a -(1-x)/(2x^3 + 5x^2). It might be due to the sudden understanding of my classes (for some reason, all of the things that were giving me trouble in any of my classes just clicked about a week ago) or it could be that I finally have a regular exercise schedule again (clears my head, helps prevent me from cluttering my head with un-needed stress). Either way, I'm diggin it. Hopefully it's cuz I really do understand and not because I've just become apathetic and don't care that I'm failing....
Why I shouldn't watch television
Thanks to Criminal Minds I am now afraid to lick envelopes for fear of a bio-weapon attack. And now thanks to Supernatural I'm afraid to fly for fear of the Flying Phantom. Thanks a lot television.
My iphone and ipod are named Arthur and Eames.
I'd have named them Mussolini and Hitler but someone said that'd be in bad taste.
Sitting in my living room, fist-pumping to correct answers on Jeopardy. EVEN THOUGH I LIVE IN THE GHETTO. shhhh don't tell the neighborhood association (read: gang). Lemon'd.

I'm playing this really fun game...
while watching Spartacus. I keep track of certain visual devices...attention grabbing cues if you will...and I'm trying to determine just how homosexually-driven the show actually is. (It's really the only way I'm going to make it through this.)
The things I'm looking for:
"straight" cues which include lady nipples, blood spatter, kills, sex acts "gay" cues which include man nipple, penis shot, gay sex act
I didn't keep track of episode 1, because it was whilst watching that episode that I came up with the game, but episodes 2 & 3 has driven some pretty interesting results.
I really want to get a few more episodes in so that I can look at the trends and extrapolate the point at which I think the show will hit maximum homo-eroticism. However, episode 2 was 82% homoerotic and episode 3 was 83%...
I'm really thinking of playing a similar game when X-men: First Class comes out on dvd.
