I don't want to single Nerd3 out here but I recently remembered the video he did on Metal Gear Rising years ago where he apparently just got up on the wrong side of the bed that day and spent the whole video treating the game like a turd stuck to the bottom of his shoe and literally ended by angrily throwing down his controller and saying quote unquote "who gives a shit? That is my review of this game; who gives a shit?" Is it fair of me, with the benefit of hindsight now that Metal Gear Rising has become a certified classic that's still popular to this day and whose relevance has long outlived his to say Nerd3 was being just a tad unfair and unreasonable? I say this because I think genuinely one of the shittiest things a creator can do is trick people who might otherwise have really loved a thing out of ever experiencing it by not giving it a chance. The time of the game's release was back when Nerd3 was one of the biggest names on the internet and so I guarantee you so many people saw his video and didn't play the game because of it. That's just... shameful. Truly shameful.
