It’s so funny, if you pay attention to me when people are nice to me I turn into a nervous dog
I think sometimes I forget just how skittish the little guy is.
I was asking King to go into his crate for dinner and I could not figure out for the life of me why he was refusing to. He was cowering, licking his lips, and just overall being a nervous wreck. No amount of baby voice could convince him that it was safe to go into his crate.
I was holding a scary chip bag.
Something about the chip bag made him too uneasy to walk past me and into his crate. It's possible that the crinkling of the bag was scary or perhaps it's something to do with his past
Occasionally, he is a tiny horse

throwback to a piece I did for Houndsaint. This was late 2018/early 2019? very "don't scare the dog, or they might hex you on accident" kind of vibe. Still a favorite!
Doctor prescribed me TWO anxiety medications
An old doodle that I drew years ago of my dog back when he was a wee green-eyed mischief maker!
His eyes have since darkened to a shade of amber but he's still just as nervous as the day we got him! Poor lil' weirdo!
We call him Finn! He loves napping, cuddling, cuddling while napping, and being absolutely babied. He hates loud noises, sudden movements, fireworks, thunderstorms, and anyone implying that our house doesn't belong solely to him while he just graciously allows us to live in it.
