buck moving from a tiny loft to a full-on suburban family house is actually a little odd. he went from a one-room bachelor pad to a place clearly built for a full family, and he picked it while he was still single. what an interesting and deliberate choice to make
I find myself thinking a lot, especially after seeing the last (current) episode of Zeztz and what will CODE do now.
Small spoilers below:
Because if the theory that Baku was artificially created by CODE is true and how he would have been a more obedient Agent than say, Sieg and that CODE was going to use him for something…then they already kind of failed in a way.
Let me explain. In the precognitive dream, Baku seemed to be doing things that would benefit CODE in doing the missions but also at times, Baku would be willing to go against his orders if it’s to save the dreamer. Eventually, he would go against even that to full don being a CODE agent, shedding his identity as Baku and going by his Agent number name like with 3, 5 and 6.
However, now that he woke up and learned that CODE didn’t really have his best interests in mind and has defected like Nox and The Lady, CODE no longer has the grip that they had on him like they did in the dream, evidently based on Zero with i think he had a conversation with Three after the dream twist and Baku refusing to have a truce with CODE once Sieg came to the picture. Whatever plans Zero had for Baku has been ripped apart by him defecting and I think that CODE/Zero himself will play more desperately having lost their Agent 7 and ultimately that will be his downfall because if we look past Freaky 3, it’s clear that something is being planned for Three based on the intro. I don’t know how much power Zero has in CODE itself but it’s clear that he’s a lot more higher up than 1 and 2 before they both defected and Three appears to not be on the same hierarchy level as Zero. Three certainly has a lot more power than the other 4 agents below him but is probably lower than Zero. So just basing it off the intro, Three could very much overthrow Zero and take his position which isn’t a good thing for everyone else.
And I haven’t even talk about Minami’s role yet! How long was she with CODE? Was she there to monitor him for whatever CODE had planned for him? Where are her parents and what happened to them if they’re not around? If she was there to monitor Baku for CODE, then that makes my thoughts of Zero doing a desperate play for whatever he has planned because it’s falling apart for him like “oh shit! Seven has defected!” “Oh shit! He finds out that his sister isn’t really his sister and is working for CODE!” “Oh shit! My plan is falling apart!”
It makes you think why Zero called Baku, “the one and only Agent.” Because he is the only one that this plan could work out for. It’s like the Chosen One trope, except you really don’t want to be the Chosen One in this instance. Like you really, really don’t want to
ppl are so lame and ik better than to reply directly because anyone who shits on a character just because they don’t understand the character or the fact that people may relate to said character isnt worth arguing with but i see the “random chrissy glaze” and “why is chrissy even popular” stuff and im sitting here like,,,, i used to avoid ANY media with ED in it like the PLAGUE because of how triggering that shit is for me being in recovery for bulimia and despite being OK for years i still couldn’t do it.
chrissy was the first character that i discovered where i was able to consume media and fan content that had her eating disorder as a major plot point ALOT of the time that helped HEAL me rather than trigger me. loving her, understanding her, not wanting that for her, WRITING her, and how that relates to my own recovery. loving myself, understanding myself, not WANTING THAT FOR MYSELF… people are so lame man. so lame.
