I'll continue the subject of better ships than canon Nessian because I have a list.

Nesta and Lucien - the original idea was good, SJM should have stuck to it.

Nesta and Eris - the chemistry, the parallels, the compatibility, the possibility to explore a political marriage trope being transformed into a real and deep love. Chef kiss

Nesta and Azriel - I really like their platonic ship, how he listens to her, doesn't judge her, and it would have been a good type of friends to lovers.

Nesta and Tamlin - I suppose holidays would have been kind of awkward, but on the edge of peak comedy. But they would have healed together and found a way to help the SC. Nesta is easily absorbed by real charity work with a social cause, and Tamlin would have appreciated her more for this. Also, it would have been a more mature and conscious version of enemies to lovers, maybe enemies and lovers.

Nesta and the Cauldron - because why not?

Nesta and Cassian post-divorce era - you know the shows where the main couple divorces because they collected too many problems, and by being separated, they start to go through this emotional chaos and they understand things and they set new rules because they understand they want to be together, but it requires a new set of rules to ensure their happiness. This is how Nessian can get a chance in my eyes.

Nesta and HoW - like the Doctor and TARDIS.

Nesta and Vassa - I can imagine too much wine and daddy issues talk, leading to an accidental hookup. And after that, who knows?

HM to Helion and Nesta; Koschei and Nesta; Bryce and Nesta. I still think these are better than canon Nessian but I don't feel the vibe for them.

We accept any types of submissions such as fanfiction, fanart, memes, edits, playlists, headcanons, moodboards, poetry and anything else!

AI is not permitted and will not be reblogged.

All ships welcome, as long as Tamlin is at the forefront. We encourage general and platonic works too.

Please tag your works appropriately. This includes NSFW, Mature, Explicit, potential triggers, etc. Please follow the rules of each platform. For example, on Tumblr, there are guidelines for NSFW images and on AO3, this requires the appropriate tags and ratings. That said, NSFW/Mature content is allowed.

Nesta

Thinking about how if Nesta was the heroine instead of Feyre, her dynamics with characters could have been very different and she could have been living that fairytale romances she reads about.

Nesta would have been the perfect Beauty and the Beast archetype and it would have been so interesting to see what she would have done given she was so strong willed to see through glamour. Plus she’s intelligent and curious, which could have led to more world building exploration.

If Nesta was the leading lady, I would have loved to see how she would have handled Amarantha and early Rhysand. The riddle would probably been simple for her.

If Rhysand x Nesta was a thing, he’d have a harder time manipulating her and it’d truly be an enemies to possibly lovers.

Tamlin x Nesta would have been so interesting. Lucien x Nesta would have been fun to watch them banter. I still think SJM was wrong to think they’d tear each other apart. Maybe Eris x Nesta could have gonna better. Maybe Cassian wouldn’t have been so volatile to Nesta since the Feyre bias wouldn’t be involved. Azriel x Nesta should just be a thing. Period. 😂

Literally so much potential.

Nesta is such an interesting character and it’s be interesting to see how things would be different if Feyre’s bias against her wasn’t leading the interactions most characters have with her. It would have been interesting to see how she handled her childhood trauma in a different context.

(Unfinished) - I will forever be upset that Mellowenglishgal who wrote the NesLin fanfic House of flame & flower hasn’t continued it😭💔 but I’m so happy she created the fic & put me onto NesLin as a romantic couple because I’ve been obsessed ever since & I hope both sides of her pillow remain cold forever!🙌🏾she created a masterpiece & the world-building is SENSATIONAL!!

I know most people are thinking about the Ghibli movie, but it's so uniquely hilarious to me when Acotar fans, Feysand stans specifically, are comparing Rhys and Feyre to Howl and Sophie. As if Howl in the book isn't literally a dumb green-eyed blonde, who carries around a guitar everywhere, and Sophie Hatter, a stern older sister, who is also a mean hardass.

Like sure, these characters might have some passing resemblance to some Acotar characters, but they sure as hell aren't Rhys and Feyre.

Eris is one of the only people who can keep up with Nesta on the dance floor, Bryce is a dancer, Lucien as a courtier can certainly dance, Gwyn and Azriel can sing songs for Nesta to dance to, Nesta is constantly compared to a queen and Helion wants her (Rhys too but he’s in denial) and Lanthys promises to crown her the queen of queens, Nesta loves reading and so does Lucien, Tamlin canonically has a giant library and so does Helion, and you’re telling me Nesta ended up with…that.
