Day 4 of @nestaarcheronweek: Lover - "Why Not Both?"

Flat out, I love Azriel and Nesta's interactions in both ACOSF and CC3, and then there's the appeal of Eris and Azriel, but then there's also Eris and Nesta. So of course, I got an idea. Why not all of them at the same time ;) Im sure that they can work out all of their differences xD

(Unfinished) - I will forever be upset that Mellowenglishgal who wrote the NesLin fanfic House of flame & flower hasn’t continued it😭💔 but I’m so happy she created the fic & put me onto NesLin as a romantic couple because I’ve been obsessed ever since & I hope both sides of her pillow remain cold forever!🙌🏾she created a masterpiece & the world-building is SENSATIONAL!!

(in progress) - Misseleanoreastwick who wrote the LucNes fanfic A Court of twin flames!! Because god damn this fic made me wish SJM kept her original idea of Lucien & Nesta being mates!!! I love it!!

(Completed) - Itsalwaystheapocalypse for A Court of lies & resurrection, a TamSand fic that had me going through it!!! I have never cried or felt my stomach drop into my ass as much as this one right here (in par with ACOTAD mentioned above)

Gwyn was the second name Azriel listed off to Nesta when she couldn’t take the mask off after she killed the Wyrm in hofas. It is rather interesting to me that Gwyn was the top name he listed right after her mate. Not her biological sisters. And that Elain was listed last right before Nyx. Sweet Elain who was the apple of Nesta’s eye till acowar. And Nesta’s eyes flared at the mention of her sisters and only banked when her baby nephew was mentioned. It felt two fold. Like showing how important Gwyn is to Nesta, ranking the order of those who genuinely love Nesta or vice versa. But also maybe who was on top of Azriel’s mind.

When I think of Nesriel, I think of quiet intensity meeting sharp defiance. A storm wrapped in silence, a blade sheathed in velvet. It’s two guarded souls circling each other carefully, instinctively recognizing the danger and the comfort.

I think of conversations held without words, of glances that say too much. Of shadows brushing over bruised pride, of a temper tempered by patience. Of two people standing in the ruins of who they used to be, learning that sometimes the quietest bond can pull you back from the edge.
