ness is a amazing boyfriend. not because of his behavior or his words, they can come across as quite rude actually, but because he will always treat you like royalty.
with him, you will never go through a day without hearing praises about anything you do. he calls you during random times, simply to tell you that he missed your voice and that you're gorgeous; "you can't even see me!" leaves your mouth and you can almost see the soft smile that appears on his lips on the other side of the call.
always brings you roses when he comes home from long trips; he thinks it's his duty to "make up" for his time away, even if you say he doesn't need to do anything for you. sometimes brings your favorite food too or brings ingredients to make it at your place.
his biggest flaw in the relationship is that he desperately needs you to love michael too – and vice versa. the first time he introduced you to his friend, you thought he was going to pass out from anxiety; he was paler than normal and his breathing was so erratic. fortunately, everything went well and ness didn't stop smiling for days.
other than words of affirmation, i think ness would be big into acts of service. when you give him the keys to your house, expect him to be there at least two times a week; not only to make you meals, but also to help you clean up anything you need – loves to do the dishes with you, but will do everything by himself if he thinks you're too tired to do that.
lastly, i think he would be a jealous boyfriend. wouldn't mind you having male friends, but would easily get angry if he sees anyone flirting with you or being a little too friendly. he always calms down if you put your hand anywhere on his body; calms down even more if you kiss his cheek to show you're dating him.
