realise you will never be able to please everyone.

just as there will always be someone who doesn't like your new nails, your new hair, or even the vintage thrifted accessory you thought would win them over,

there will also always be someone who doesn't match your energy, someone who's priorities and values don't align with yours.

and that's not the end of the world.

stop trying to fit into a glove that's either too big or too small.

Personality Contradictions

Personality contradictions are a pain sometimes then other times they’re wicked.

I am a bubly person, I love to hang out in meadows, Garden, Talk to plants and sing so I’m basically a disney princess minus the Unrealistic body and perfect hair.

Then at other times I can wear witchy gothic clothing and Act angsty, sarcastic, and Flip my bitch switch when I’m annoyed and it surprises people because they like to put me in a box, I love not fitting in.

I just want to find you and in the very first second we see each other; just fall into each others arms forever.

But this world's rules won't allow that to ever be possible. They will tell you “that  only happens in the movies”. They will tell you that everyone is out to break your heart. They will tell you that a person like that is broken. Don't let them keep you from me.

I wonder if my tormentors ever give me a passing thought...

Ahh those awkward moments that remind you that no matter how hard you try, no matter how "nice" you are and how many times you happily lend a hand, you will ALWAYS be "Other".

Walked down the hall to where my supervisor and two other co-workers were happily chatting away. The conversation trailed off as they looked at me expectantly. I asked one of them a question and once it was answered, the conversation remained in a lull until my feet had beaten the path back to my own desk. 

I get along with each of them individually and they are all perfectly "nice". I don't have the paranoia that the conversation was about me. I don't think they did it on purpose. But each of them, subconsciously, through their actions, expressed an infinitesimal amount of relief at my absence. It was easier to relate without my alien presence intruding on their casual , friendly discourse.
