Had some of the kids in my building over today. I wanted to see if I could get them all off video games for a bit. I wanted to see how long they could focus on one thing so I had them all drawing Joy House sets, creating, up, moving around and one even wrote a song! Basically doing The Joy House. You can tell what kids are into by what they are focused on how long they stay at it! I know how to motivate them and get their little minds thinking, dreaming, creating and believing in themselves and off the games and a lot of mindless stuff they constantly watch non stop on You tube and Tik Tok at least for a while! It makes me really happy to see. They are teaching me as I am learning from them what kids are into and what they love to watch these days. Inspiring me to come up with new ideas of how to combine old school with new schools. I am also finally “trying” to understand as I have never had time to really know how to promote The Joy House Channel JOYHOUSETV / Miss Joy and s The Joy House for kids on Youtube. I was so “focused” on raising my kids, running them around and working non stop even though I have many original JOYHOUSETV music videos out on Youtube for years.
