if you can think of a ship, i will answer either of these sets of questions for them:
Jacob would be the big spoon. I could see him snuggling the hell out of JT. When she's in her final form though, its the opposite cause she gets territorial. Jacob would probably get squished a lot.

Working on science projects together while going over music and talking about things they want to do with their lives. They are beautiful crazy multi task mother fuckers.
who uses all the hot water:
They'd both be guilty but Jacob would probably be the culprit since JT prefers lukewarm or cold showers.

Getting each others work areas mixed up. Since JT likes to keep her organization chaotic and Jacob more or less does the same there could be issues with notes getting mixed which could produce disastrous results so they would probably bicker about it.
who does most of the cleaning:
Jacob. JT gets way too distracted by her work or a breakthrough that she tends to forget to take care of home cleaning.
what has a season pass on their dvr/who controls the netflix queue:
JT would have the pass on the DVR. Jacob would control the netflix queue for them both once they go over what kind of movies they want to watch.
who calls up the super/landlord when the heat’s not working:
JT would take care of this. Years of experience having an apartment and what not makes her take care of this out of habit.
They would both be equally bad about it. Most likely JT would start it and Jacob would finish it by kicking off the blanket from the bed so that there isn't any mortal combat happening ala sleep.
who leaves their stuff around:
They both leave a lot of their stuff around. They're scientists. Its just how they do.
who remembers to buy the milk:
Jacob would probably have an easier time remembering to get groceries so he'd get the milk.

They're both pretty smart about remembering important dates so anniversaries wouldn't be an issue with either of them.
JT would just out of habit after her years helping her buddy Yorgi cook for everyone in the apartment complex when she was a viral dealer. However she'd invite Jacob to come participate and help since she prefers it when they cook together.
how often do they fight?:
Not often but they do have their moments. Mostly the fights start because of them both undermining their own capabilities and putting themselves down. Naturally when one tries to comfort and say that isn't true, the other gets snippy and that's when they start having a fight. They make up quick though, after giving some space.
what do they do when they’re away from each other?:
JT works on research notes, goes out into town to take care of Splicer related issues cause she's trying to catalog just how many are out there. Jacob would probably be working on his astrology research or relaxing.

who is more likely to pay for dinner?:
This is another thing they probably would bicker over. JT has plenty of money and doesn't mind covering for things but since Jacob is a gentlemen he insists he pays for dinner.
what would they get each other for gifts?:
JT would get Jacob space and other science related gifts. Maybe even research supplies, books, anything that deals with the cosmos she knows he'll love.
Jacob would get her biology and virology related things. Like necklaces and little things like that. Books too and maybe some small viral samples he can get from colleagues so she can study them.
Jacob kissed JT first after she pretty much gave hints to go for it.
who made the first move?:
JT did, being flirty and what not since Jacob doesn't have that much experience in the dating field.
When it comes to complex issues Jacob would probably have an easier time remembering cause he prioritizes quite well. JT, the little things and essentials cause Jacob sometimes overlooks things.
The roles tend to reverse when its about house hold things.
who started the relationship?:
They both wanted it equally but since JT wasn't so sure and was afraid given that she's not even human, Jacob took initiative to let her know it was okay.
JT BY FUCKING FAR. EVERY OTHER WORD OUT OF THAT WOMAN'S MOUTH IS FUCK OR SON OF A BISCUIT BITCH.
what would they do if the other one was hurt?:
JT would be very tender to Jacob, going out of her way to make him feel comfortable like helping him more, taking care of things he would normally do, cuddling and letting him know he was safe and loved, buying him things she knows he's been wanting etc. Then she would systematically stalk and or try to kill whoever hurt her baby.
Jacob would do nice things like getting JT her favorite snacks or food items, making sure she doesn't over exert herself, carrying her around wherever she wanted even if she could walk fine or if its only a few feet away, holding her and singing to her etc. He'd be very attentive and caring.
