Hello do you or anyone else knows if in nwn2 (specifically motb) half orc/grey orc pc romances are restricted? In nwn2 itself they shoudnt be but I read that someone was playing motb as a fem orc and couldn't romance Gann. I don't want to miss much content from the module which includes the romance but I can't find anything about race restrictions anywhere else. I don't think a lot of people played as orcs lol!
Wait, I do not remember any restrictions... but I also only played non orc. I don't think they should be restricted, it seems strange. I played Yuan Ti which is definitely not a human, and it was not restricted to me.
Baldur’s Gate, Baldur’s Gate ll, Baldur’s Gate: Siege of Dragonspear, Icewind Dale, Planescape: Torment and Neverwinter Night are coming to Nintendo Switch in 2019.
Sometimes I really want to read a short summary of what to expect from a game with a very particular description that CATER to my OWN SPECIFIC interests, so here we go.
what to expect from NEVERWINTER NIGHTS: ORIGINAL CAMPAIGN
isometric rpg, classic DnD fantasy world and lore (Forgotten Realms)
You can play as male or female, a hero just appointed in Neverwinter by Lady Aribeth. You can play any of the classes and fantasy races of DnD
you have to save Neverwinter (city) from the magic plague, then find more about the weird cult behind it
demons!
classic quests, sort of linear storyline (you move from area to area once you start a new chapter, section)
the map is not great, the fight is... not great either, very slow
you can recruit henchmen, some of them are actual characters and have a personal story
when you travel and fight: only one henchman at a time with you!
betrayal! mysteries! magic!
I remember really enjoying the music
a nice quest (my favourite) where you have to do some detective work and collect clues
Daelan for best orc companion
plot? find out who are the... villains?? Also where did Lady Aribeth go??
gameplay? classic almost isometric rpg, DnD based fights
characters? the henchmen have some characterization, but don’t expect Bioware levels. Lady Aribeth is probably the most complete character
sadness level? medium low (but it’s been a while since I played this)
happy ending? deaths? (spoiler under cut)
Sadness and death all around Lady Aribeth’s fate and betrayal
