Then I read the Thrawn (2017) and Ascendancy trilogies, and I understood.

Ruminations and ramblings are rarely a solo sport—and today, I’m thrilled to share that this side project is growing. What started as a one-idiot operation (Hi, I’m A 👋) now welcomes its second voice: B. B will bring their lens, cadence, ruminations, and interests to this blog with a shared commitment to emotional nuance and depth. Their writing is thoughtful, layered, and resonant. And, yes, we may do notes for the same book! As individuals with unique experiences and interpretations to draw from, our hope is always that the nuance and difference may be visible and valuable..

🧠Why Letters?

Each contributor to this blog will be assigned a letter in alphabetical order. This process allows our ideas to stand on their own by preserving our anonymity. We’re not experts, but we’re honest, and it’s invaluable to have that veil for both vulnerability and safety. The assignment of letters is purely in order of join and does not signify any hierarchy or order of importance. 

And don’t worry, all existing notes will be updated to include a contributor letter as a signature, ensuring the continuity and integrity of our project.

B’s upcoming posts will also delve into human behavior. B is not just another addition to the project; their unique perspective and experience are invaluable, and we can’t wait to see how they will enrich this project. Whether it’s notes or essays, the goal is the same: underline what stands out to us, process those notes, and translate our thoughts or related experience into words.
