Yo, tumblr!

Thanks for all your kind responses. I will continue to blog here when the spirit moves me. In the mean time you’ll have noticed the redesign, which I’m not especially keen on. However, when creating my secondary blog I inadvertently hit the wrong button on the wrong account and thus lost my beloved tumblr theme forever. I tried getting it back but it’s such an old one it’s no longer available, and googling only led me to other blogs that had chosen the same theme back in the day, rather than somewhere I could re-install it. So I settled on this one which, while minus a sidebar, at least promises higher-res images. I believe there’s a way for me to locate my Likes, and once I’ve sussed it, I’ll add a link to the others above. I’ve also taken down the blogroll for the time being as it’s due for a radical overhaul, as many of the links are dead as blogs have been abandoned for instagram. 

Given that I am a self-confessed techno-klutz, I somehow managed to post my first new blog post on this one by accident, albeit briefly, for which I apologise. The new blog, Postcards From The Edge, will showcase my much beloved but long neglected collection of bad postcards. Yes, I am aware there is already a tumblr dedicated to same, but nothing’s been posted on it for 2 years. And while there will inevitably be some commonalities, my collection boasts some  stonkers that won’t have been showcased on that blog just by virtue of my living on another continent. 

So, without further ado, here is the link to my inaugural post. Hope it raises a chortle. Alas I haven’t yet worked out if there’s a way I can install Disqus on a secondary tumblr. So, if you like it, just follow or click on the little heart or shoot a message to my tumblr inbox.
