Their lore - so far:
They met at work! Both work for the company Waystar Royco. When Greg began his work there, Ellie had already worked for them for over a year. They didn't talk much at first since they worked at different departments but after an incident at work, they got to know each other. She sees how Greg is treated at work and how insecure he seems, and feels for him. While she appears as confident and ambitious, she is an outsider at work, having a hard time being taken seriously due to her sarcastic personality and tendency to make everything into a joke. She is one of the few people to stand up for Greg, which develops into a friendship and eventual romance.
