Indian Army gets new cannon ‘Vajra’, destroy enemy from 38 kilometer.

  Continued Indian Army is strengthening its fortress with increasing challenges on the border. In this sequence, the army got some weapons on Friday, which could cause the enemy to shake. On Friday, Army has got 9 Vajra (Korean) and M777 Howitzer (American) Cannon. This will increase the artillery capacity of the Indian Army. To include these tools, Defense Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, and Army Chief Bipin Rawat was present at a function at the Deolali Artillery Center in Nashik on Friday. During this, Nirmala Sitharaman said, "In the short period of four years we have added two modern guns to the army fleet. The credit goes to the current government. The M77 Howitzer Cannon has prepared by the US. So far, India has got 25 guns. Soon 120 guns will find. She said that we will produce it in India with the help of Korea. The first 10 guns have assembled in India itself. According to the Ministry of Defense, 9 Vajra is including at the cost of Rs 4,366 crore, this work will complete by November 2020. In total 100 cannons, 10 guns will supply this month under the first consignment. The next 40 guns will supply in November 2019 and then 50 guns in November 2020. The first regiment of Vajra expected to complete by July 2019.

The whole process will be completed in 24 months by Indian Army

This is the first cannon made by the Indian private sector. The maximum range of these cannons is 28 - 38 km. It is capable of firing three shells in 30 seconds and it can blunt 15 balls in three minutes. The Army is going to create seven Regiment of '' 145 M777 Howitzer ''. A spokesperson of the Ministry of Defense said that the supply of these guns will begin from August 2019 and the whole process will be completed in 24 months. The first regiment will complete by October next year. The range of these cannons is up to 30 km, it can take through the helicopter or aircraft to the desired location. Nearly 3 decades ago, the Indian Army got cannon like Bofors. This had increased the power of the army. Apart from the 9 thunderstorms, the M777 Ultra-light Howitzer gun is also joining the army fleet. This project is worth Rs. 5000 crores, in the Artillery Regiment of the Indian Army, a total of 145 M-777 ultra-light Howitzer will be included in the year 2021.
