“I’ve always been there for my daughter. Always. I just had to to step up. The secret was too much you know? I have the means to be sole provider so I have an obligation to her to be 100% here for her. Always.”

“I’ve always been there for my daughter. Always. I just had to to step up. The secret was too much you know? I have the means to be sole provider so I have an obligation to her to be 100% here for her. Always.”
“This is great and all, but there is literally nothing glamorous about sleeping in a tent,” Marcy remarked, running a hand through her now long, blond hair. Her blue eyes squinted against the light of the sun. “I’m still not a morning person,” she added cheekily.
"That one’s mine,” Daniel pointed out his son in the crowd of children playing on the riverbank. “He looks like his mom, it’s fucking weird — Kolby!” He called out, causing the curly haired three year old to come running over to his father. When the child reached him, Daniel crouched down. “This is daddy’s friend, can you say hi, please?” The boy looked up at them with big brown eyes that looked remarkably like Annabel’s and dimples to match. “See?” Dan smiled at them. “It’s creepy, yo.”
“I’ve been dying to take the kids camping since I had them. But Wyatt has always been so anti-outdoors. Go figure right?” Addison joked, hugging one of her daughters tightly. “But enough about me and my problems. Are you and yours enjoying the trip so far?”
Ivy was exploring Jeremy and Charlie’s home for the first time, walking room for room and taking everything in. She picked up a picture frame and smiled at the family photo inside when she heard foot-steps walk into the room, behind her. “Checking out the place too?” She questioned with her back still towards them. “I think this is one of the cutest photos I’ve seen in awhile.”
“Yeah I mean she wants to turn it into this thing for Immy, but I’m still pulling through for a man cave. It’s just dark enough to create the right atmosphere, y’know? I could put all my shit up here that Char doesn’t like, it’d be awesome.”
Kendall’s flight had been pushed back and delayed time after time, and it was really a miracle that he was able to even get to New Quinton before everyone headed out. He was in the middle of prying a suitcase from the back of his rental car’s stupidly-tiny trunk, which only resulted in him stumbling back and knocking someone right upside the head with the duffel.
“Shit, shit, sorry,” he grumbled, steadying himself. When he finally got a look at the person he’d smacked, his brows shot up. “Whoah. Hey.”
“Damn, can’t believe we’re all gonna be back at it again soon. It feels like just yesterday we were all tryna get through school and shit. I’m glad we don’t have to go through all that again. I don’t even know how I managed to get through it in the first place.”
