After more than a decade with a hand-me-down glasstop electric stove, this happened! "Happened" doesn't even begin to describe what it took to put a gas stove with hood vent and microwave into the little house and a propane tank in our woods. George had to be brush clearer, trench digger, gas piper, cabinet remodeler, tin bender, duct guy, and electrician (I'm probably forgetting several other roles). But I'm already in love with the new setup. With our two lovely friends hard work and promotions, we were able to replace the stove and counter from the fire fiasco of last chapter.

#yay #newstove #happychef #happymom Actually boiling water for a sick person in my house. I had been cooking at home with only 2 burners for a few years. Always made it work. This is awesome for me! Easter Dinner is going to be epic!!
