Newts
A little while ago I did the OWL readathon and in August it was time for the Newts.
For the OWLs I passed the subjects Herbology, Potions and Care of magical creatures. This means that I had to receive certain grades during the newts for these subjects to be able to do the career I chose. In the following picture you’ll see the career I chose and which grades I had to get.
To get these grades I had to read books that fit with the following prompts:
Herbology
A: Mandrake! Quick put your headphones on! Listen to an audiobook
E: Read a book between 350-390 pages
O: Read a book with a flower on the cover
Potions
A: Pollyjuice potion: read your friend’s favourite book!
E: House ingredient: book with a cover in your Hogwarts house colour
Care of magical creatures
A: Follow the spiders! Why couldn’t it be follow the butterflies! Book title that starts with a letter A, for Aragog!
