Many people who know me may have also realized that 2018 was a fairly horrible and difficult year for me, and I was going to make some post about all that and about hopes the new year but once I collected a picture to highlight each month, I was confronted so absolutely by the sheer amount of JOY there was throughout the year despite the hardships. I realized that if a stranger looked at this collection of pictures, they would have NO IDEA that I was about to categorize this as the so-called "Worst Year Of My Life" and that is a far more important takeaway than any ramble about the "growth I did this year". Here is hard proof that it is rather easy, actually, to CHOOSE joy and happiness, and more importantly, to MAKE it for yourself. I am irrevocably grateful to all my friends and family in these photos (and all those that are not, of course 😘) for being a source of unbridled joy in my life.
