I just saw today that’s there’s a trailer out for the next season of House of the Dragon? I totally thought that wouldn’t happen until next year so they could stagger it with AKOTSK but oh well.

Here I was, thinking I’d timed my next ASOIAF project so poorly that there would be a minimum year wait for more content… only to discover I’ve accidentally timed mine with HotD. the cosmos works in mysterious ways I guess. Fingers crossed this timing won’t backfire terribly? I swear it was a coincidence that my teaser announcement is literally scheduled for June 19th. (IG has some catching up to do before it’s pedal to the metal time ;D )

Anyway, I hope you stay tuned for the accidental double feature?

It's been a really bad week. I was going to start a big felting project, but I am not feeling it. So instead, I want whoever sees this to help me pick my next project. Pick either: 1. Shadow (maybe a small one like the Surge I posted?) 2. A normal type chao (a community project where I'll ask for colors and animal parts from viewers like you)

Ok... the Wolfman building blocks so far my way goes as follows...

It follows the "family goes on a trip out in the woods and they get attacked by an unknown beast or more" trope, but it has a twist.

I call it MK's Wolfman, but it is actually an amalgamation of three stories all in one reimagined; Wolfman (duh), The Three Little Pigs and the Big Bad Wolf, and Little Red Riding Hood.

It does have father-child themes, but not in a trauma related way. As someone who has an awesome dad (love you, daddy), I wanted to make a story about the lengths a father will go to protect and save their child. Sometimes, they make mistakes, but even then, I want the story to showcase the beauty of fatherly love.

The Wolfman himself is a metaphor for authentic masculinity. True masculinity is like true feminism. The real kinds isn't bad. The mis-conceptualized version of them are. Or even just the authentic self. We THINK it's monster, but it's actually something really cool and the people who truly love us will accept it.

I have not yet decided if it is going to come before or after the Jekyll & Hyde sequel yet. It depends on which manuscript gets finished first. I always work with a completed manuscript. However, it is happening. It's decided, the art is already in the works and I already have the whole story written out in my head.
