Neymar Jr, a life under Pluto’s Spell

THIS is Neymar’s birth chart. Do you see all the planets together in the bottom ? Well, Pluto, planet of destruction, is gonna transit over each one and do his thing.

Pluto is not only destruction but also rebirth. It represents the urge to regenerate and the power we gain from deep transformations. Pluto’s goal is to purify, eliminate what is unnecessary so we can see what really matter. It’s a wonderful opportunity but it doesn’t happens without pain because Pluto asks us to let go of security, of comfort and can awake fears and power struggles in someone’s life.  It also intensifies the qualities of the planet transited. 

2013 - Neymar at FC Barcelona / Pluto transits his North Node The North Nodes is the reason why you are born, what you need to learn in this life. Karma was calling, he answered and had to let go of his past, of his life in Brazil and face his first deep transformation, his first rebirth. For him, it was probably like jumping into the void and hoping something good was waiting for him on the other side, in this new country. But knowing that move would make him closer to his ultimate dream, he jumped and made all the necessary sacrifices. It was an opportunity for him to understand his motivations and himself. A necessary step in his career towards maturity by letting his home and comfort behind, by confronting himself to the greatest players in the world and ultimately growing stronger. 

Spring/Summer 2014 - Before and after the World Cup / Pluto transits his Venus / Pluto enters his 2nd House (Pluto-Venus reconnect in 2015, at the beginning and at the end of the year) During this time he had to painfully let go of his dream to win the World Cup in his own country. That dream who made him sacrifice so much for. Yes, Pluto can be cruel but it always has a point to make. This rebirth was about his self-worth and his values. His public and marketing image changed, and so did the way people looked at him and loved him. The amount of love he received during the World Cup was insane and it shifted the way he saw himself. Ultimately, he realized he needed to recenter himself on what was the most important for him : the love and support of his family.

2016 - Top 3 Ballon d’Or + Olympics Gold Medal - Pluto transits his Uranus (3 peaks : January, July-August and November).  Uranus is the ruler of his Sun Sign (Aquarius) and this Pluto-Uranus conjunction was epic and allowed him to shine and be more charismatic. After his injury during the WC and his expulsion during the Copa 2015, the rebel Uranus got tamed by Pluto. He learned to think things through. What went wrong ? Uranus-Pluto gave him an option : to profoundly change and to take responsibilities. He freed himself from Brazil’s “Neymar dependencia” and he became brave, not fearless but truly brave facing the fear of losing, facing Pluto and was rewarded. 

Summer 2017 - Neymar to PSG - Pluto transits to his Neptune On Friday, August 4th (2017), the day of his official presentation, Pluto and Neymar’s Neptune conjunction is gonna be absolutely EXACT (at 17°31′ in Capricorn).  His rebirth in his national selection gave Neymar a taste of independence and responsibilities. And now he wants to experience that in his club. This transfer to PSG only came after some serious disillusions for him. He realized he couldn’t have that independence in Barca. And he made a choice. A choice powered by Neptune-Pluto and an persistent intuition that PSG is the next step in his destiny. He is following what his heart says, even if it could bring misunderstanding of his action. Again this decision wasn’t painless for him, it never is when Pluto is involved, but he had to let go of his dream of Barca, because it was in the way of discovering what is necessary for him and to keep learning and growing. He is taking a risk, one more, but he learned to be brave with Uranus-Pluto and now the is learning to trust his intuition, whatever the outcomes.

Next stop for Pluto is gonna his transit over Mars (in 2018 - during the World Cup), and after a 10 years break, Pluto is gonna visit Saturn, Mercury, Sun and Moon. 

Neymar’s lifetime is gonna be filled by Pluto transforming, destroying and forcing him to let go of the things he loves and cares for. The only planet Pluto isn’t gonna mess with in Ney’s Chart is gonna be Jupiter (his belief, luck and optimism). This is his compass in dark times, and if he uses it to get through all the struggles Pluto is throwing at him, he is gonna be alright.

Dear Ney, I’m 100% sure you will never read this. But I have to get this off my chest so here goes nothing. 

When there were rumors that you were going to leave Barça for PSG this summer, I laughed. Here we go again with the Neymar is going to PSG rumors, I thought. Then the rumors started getting more serious. When it became obvious you were seriously considering leaving Barça, I was shocked and angry. How is it possible that players like Messi, Suaréz & Iniesta have to convince you to stay? At this stage, the rumors started spinning out of control and I thought, just go. If you need to think twice about wearing the Barça jersey, then maybe you don’t belong here. 

After 2 weeks, you let us know you have made up your mind. You’re leaving us. I saw it coming, yet deep down I felt a little sad. 

After seeing your goodbye message to our club, I burst into tears. I wasn’t sure why I was crying, but I know now. I am actually going to miss you at Barça. 

I am going to miss your happiness while playing in the Barça jersey, you falling down after 1 minute into the game, your amazing skills with the ball, your jokes with the other players both on and off the pitch, the N in MSN, Neymessi and your sometimes questionable fashion choices. I could name so many other things, but I don’t want to make this very long.

I look back at these 4 years seeing you grow into the man you are today. I think about all the memories I have made with loved-ones because of you at this club. I’ll never forget them. What I’ll also never forget is your participation in all the titles we have won. The way you always gave it your 100%. (As long as there is 1% chance, we will have 99% faith)

I would have loved nothing more than for you to stay at Barça forever. But I do get where you are coming from and I respect your decision. The only thing I really feel sad about is that my family and I never got to see you play in that Barça jersey at Camp Nou with our own eyes. 

I wish you all the best at PSG. But don’t come crawling back to us when we beat you big time in the CL, alright? ;) 

Thank you for wearing the Barça jersey. I feel very lucky to have witnessed it. You have left an incredible mark on this club and it will not go unrecognized. 

But this chapter has ended. It’s time for a new one.

Okay I'm taking a fucking break from all of you who are unstanning Neymar because of the transfer. You're all acting like this is the first time you've experienced a transfer. Players change teams all the time. Some do it for more play time. Some do it to move up in their career. Some do it for a chance to be the best. Some do it for money. Whether Neymar moved for more money or moved so he could progress, it was his decision to make and we have to respect that. And let's be real, at Barca he was never going to step out of Messi's shadow so in my opinion he's done the right thing.
