One of the things that irritated me the most in nfdmc trailer is the fact that secretary is here and she's dark skined proving they could have done the same thing for Lucia but they still whitewashed her in season 1

Secretary and Lucia are both created by Arius and supposed to look alike but one of them have her melanin being taken away

Yet you will have some people who will say : "It's not whitewashing, she's not completely white."

Changing a character skin tone to make it clearier IS whitewashing. You can see the difference between game Lucia and show Lucia

Or you will have arguments like "It's not that deep ! Don't like it don't watch it !".

Yes it is ! We're talking about racism ! Nfdmc have poc characters (one day maybe I will talk about how they're represented) but Lucia is whitewashed for no reasons

We're talking about a series in which one of the main themes is minorities but one of the characters who's part of a minority is whitewashed. Saying to not watching it if we don't like it is just ignoring the problem and it participate to its normalization.
