Introducing my oc : Béatrice Monnier

Béatrice is know in the neighbourhood as Dante's roommate and also as his assistant even if technically, she's still looking for a job. She's described as someone who's always optimistic, caring, calm and selfless. Because of this she's sometimes treated as if she was too "innocent" or "pure" which annoy her but she never said it out loud. She's very close to Dante. They joke or tease each others, he's the only person with who she feel confortable enough to yap about her hobbies for hours. Béatrice feel like she owe him a lot since it's thank to him she have a roof which why she overwork and try to found a job, she don't want to burden. However, she worry about him because she have seen how he changed since he went to the Temen Ni Gru. Dante never told her what happened there neither about his origins, he's too scared of her reaction or even losing her.

At the age of 16, Béatrice have left France and moved in Redgrave City to live with her uncle, William Monnier. She worked in his flower shop. Her uncle was like a father figure, he was the only who actually cared about her in France. He even offered her his bracelet. Dante knew William before he met Béatrice. When he was under the indentity of Tony Redgrave, him and Grue owed him money so he sometimes come there for the debt, that's how he met Béatrice. They quickly got along and without realizing, he started to come more often in the flower shop. But everything changed when one day, demons targeted the shop and set it on fire. Béatrice was the only survivor. She no longer had a home, a job or a family. Dante was there to confort her and it was during this moment that he revealed to her his true identity and proposed to live with him which she eventually accepted. Since that day she developped a hate and a fear for demons. Even if she keep acting optimistic and smiling, she still mourning the death of her uncle.
