MBTI Types on New Year’s Eve (NTs, Part 4)
ENTP: Theorizing about how exactly the ball drops and explaining to everyone how politics will work in the New Year. Debates with INTP about mechanics of the ball and the state of the union (wherever they may be). Is at a party somewhere, most likely in a smaller city, surrounded by friends and strangers attracted by the strange charisma of the ENTP. Doesn’t go to bed until noon on New Year’s Day.
INTP: Hangs out with ENTP at a big party, but shoes away into a corner and thinks of arguments for debating them. Doesn’t notice when the ball drops but rather zones out to think about the past year and what they will do in the next month. Doesn’t go to bed until 4 am.
ENTJ: Somehow has gathered 15-20 people following them closely to talk about a subject they are quite knowledgeable in: leadership. Talks about the political climate with a few stray ENTPs and leads the crowd to watch the ball drop. Most likely in a skyscraper looking out a window to watch the ball drop, staying warm and comfortable while watching. Goes to bed after sending all of their newfound followers home, about 2 am.
INTJ: Is at home, watching the festivities online as to avoid the commercials and the crowds. Only one other person they love is with them to watch, and they spend time thinking and discussing their plans for the next year. Makes coffee while waiting and toasts with the coffee. Doesn’t go to bed until 3 am because they’re still thinking about the New Year.
