INFP: I have an IQ of 57 (measured in rate of tortilla chips consumed in 15 minutes).
INFJ: I’m not sure that’s how that works.
INFP: Do you think I care? I’m running on 2 hours of sleep and the only energy I contain is that of four tortilla chips.

MBTI Types on New Year’s Eve (NTs, Part 4)
ENTP: Theorizing about how exactly the ball drops and explaining to everyone how politics will work in the New Year. Debates with INTP about mechanics of the ball and the state of the union (wherever they may be). Is at a party somewhere, most likely in a smaller city, surrounded by friends and strangers attracted by the strange charisma of the ENTP. Doesn’t go to bed until noon on New Year’s Day.
INTP: Hangs out with ENTP at a big party, but shoes away into a corner and thinks of arguments for debating them. Doesn’t notice when the ball drops but rather zones out to think about the past year and what they will do in the next month. Doesn’t go to bed until 4 am.
ENTJ: Somehow has gathered 15-20 people following them closely to talk about a subject they are quite knowledgeable in: leadership. Talks about the political climate with a few stray ENTPs and leads the crowd to watch the ball drop. Most likely in a skyscraper looking out a window to watch the ball drop, staying warm and comfortable while watching. Goes to bed after sending all of their newfound followers home, about 2 am.
INTJ: Is at home, watching the festivities online as to avoid the commercials and the crowds. Only one other person they love is with them to watch, and they spend time thinking and discussing their plans for the next year. Makes coffee while waiting and toasts with the coffee. Doesn’t go to bed until 3 am because they’re still thinking about the New Year.
INFJ: Hey, INTJ. Feeling better since last time?
INTJ: Sure am. I know this is totally changing the subject and is not related to our conversation at all, but do you want a pocket constitution?
INFJ: What?
INTJ: I went on Amazon last night and I needed free shipping so I bought 3 pocket constitutions... they were a dollar each.
INFJ: Dude, are you okay? This isn’t like you, spontaneously buying things like this!
INFP: Hey. A troubled soul has to buy what a troubled soul has to buy. By the way, INTJ, I’ll take one. Just in case.
INFJ: I hang out with a bunch of crackheads.
MBTI Types on New Year’s Eve (SJs, Part 2)
ESFJ: The designated driver. Makes sure everyone gets to where they need to be and then goes off to New York to watch the ball drop in Times Square. 1 in the morning car rides back home to watch the other time zones’ celebrations at home.
ISFJ: Encouraging their friends to not drink as much. Protecting everyone from food poisoning, alcohol poisoning, and firework accidents. Probably with a group of close friends in Sydney or London. Goes home a few minutes after the celebration is over and doesn’t stay for the afterparty.
ESTJ: Organizes the perfect route and times to get to their optimized viewing places. Strangers following them for some direction, trying to find lost family members. In a crowded area, but where fences are up to keep passers by away from the streets and traffic. Most likely only travelled an hour or less away from home.
ISTJ: Organizes the perfect stay-at-home TV schedule. Pours sparkling grape juice instead of champagne at midnight. Turns the TV off at 12:01 to watch the news or recaps of a sporting event. Stays up an hour to watch said sporting or news and goes to bed afterwards.
INFP, after a class filled with political debates: Man. I was really hoping to get to lunch before getting ticked off today. Guess I was wrong.
Newspaper headline: A**hole Rat Really Messes With Scientific Study
INFP: The rat is me.
INTJ: And I’m the scientific study.
INFP: Is a quesadilla a Mexican grilled cheese or is a grilled cheese an American quesadilla?
INTJ: Somebody’s tired.
