IM AT A FORMAL CONFERENCE AND EARLIER ONE OF THE SPEAKERS ASKED “now what holiday is today?” AND HE TALKED ABOUT THE IDES OF MARCH!!!!! I think he’s got a secret tumblr account 🤨
so on the topic of strange conversations i've had with customers one time i'm checking out this guy and i mention that i love one of the snacks he's getting. we talk a bit and idk how but now we're talking about back pain. he says "my doctor says not to drive with your wallet in your back pocket, it offsets your spine just enough to really fuck it up without noticing." and i smile and say "that makes sense! i should take that advice." suddenly he laughs nervously and goes "i'm so high right now and just freaked myself out. i'm sorry." and i tell him i understand and tell him to drive safe. i think he started crying when he left
oh my god this esperanto guy that me and my friend used to talk to years ago suddenly is trying to start a conversation again sdpofksf
This guy explained Bitcoin to me yesterday and I listened because I was like "Honestly lemme hear it from a real person." So while the explanation was clear, shit still don't make sense to me 🤣
Thinking about that reminded me that the only time I've ever met an honest to god, stereotypical otaku was during military service
