TWO months ago in October, Maci & Tory threw a little garden party to celebrate their 20 year wedding anniversary, & in this Canon Convo their daughter Neo casually revealed that she’s at last dating her long time best friend since infancy Icy! FINALLY!! Maci and Tory have known 1) Icy’s ALWAYS had a crush on Neo except for 2) the very brief time when he was distracted (by CHAL lmfao) which happened to be exactly when Neo realized SHE had a crush on him and 3) THEN THAT WAS ALL LIKE, FIVE YEARS AGOOOO OF STUPID MUTUAL PINING— well!! No more!!! CUT TO LAST OCTOBER - right after THIS COMIC takes place!!

For me and Fenixe, Neo and Icy have been destined to get together since Neo was BORN 14 real years ago (she is 19 in canon due to the 5yr skip). Naturally though, leave it to Neo to exit our canon OC-RPverse and just do her own thing offscreen without telling anyone?!! Pages 2-9 are straight frommmm… my Notes App. But this IS fully a Canon Convo ‼️as far as I’m concerned! Just bc I write Neo AND Icy…. And Pasi and Pho and Hypnos and Maci, there’s only so much talking to myself I can do before Fenixe my beloved RP partner uhhh presumably kills me, so this couldn’t happen IN our threads but it did (apparently) happen a year ago. while we were focusing on the TaKi Fuego throuple. I’ve had bits of this convo saved in my notes for literal years.

…speaking of. Stares at the camera how did I somehow accidentally make the Neo/Icy comic also TaKi Fuego themed LOL 😩indicative of where my brain ACTUALLY is. (Icy obviously gets running live text updates of all drama happening in the palace from Neo). 😶hilariously this took me SO long to draw that those three idiots DID confirm amongst themselves they’re all in love with each other and in a relationship (CONFUSEDLY CANONIZING THEMSELVES THREE SEPARATE TIMES NOW) in the interim but that’s for another post lmao

In the meantime it HAS always been them🥹 and I can’t believe we’re FINALLY here. grow your OCs up in REAL TIME and ship them together over a decade later.

I don’t know what the palace looks like 😭 but Maci is the odd one out it’s quite common and standard to live in fancy cavern homes in the Underworld here!! 💜lmao yes Hypnos & Pasi are fully collapsed on the floor at ANY time. normal occurrence

💜Icy’s had a stutter since he was a kid! All the hard B-P-G sounds on a good day, everything ever when he’s extra nervous :) hey I love him so much. I’m so glad he finally gets a main character moment! back to the background you go

💜page 4, that split second Icy catching Neo’s arrival via the poppies in his bedroom wilting and dying is like my favorite moment in this whole thing.

I know this is a bit late but i just wanted to rant about my my favorite parts of each chapter lol

loved the awkward first call between them, fez being worried about ash, and lexi apologizing for scaring him was so cute and funny.

ash's background story broke my heart, him being under substances 💔 and fez dealing with his withdrawal, it was a small moment in the story but still so meaningful for ther father/son relationship.

having said that FEZ AND ASH WITH MATCHING NECKLACES!!! your mind!! That's something I could definitely see fez doing

I love fez being smooth and flirty "The Headmaster thinks he’s slick, sendin’ a pretty girl with his message", loved this part!!!

and the Mac and cheese part!! hilarious, ash shrugging, fez feeling betrayed I had a big smile during that part

I didn't expect ash having a crush on lexi, but him looking for a valentines card for her was adorable!

*cue to montage of them trying to bake cookies and failing miserably* I can picture this clearly

fez and ash hugging and showing affection to each other is something that was missing fuck sl for not giving us more aah/fez love, thank you for giving it to us

honestly i felt for fez so much lmaooo getting a call from the school is terrifying. i’m so glad you noticed the matching necklaces! i love throwing out little details like that and hoping people catch them!

i am always on my fez is a flirt agenda. it just makes sense to me ok. yeah he’s a lil soft baby but he was dropping lines at nye like that’s canon. so i’m gonna keep writing him as a little flirt and i can’t be stopped lol.
