Canal Loft Herengracht - by Nice Makers

This house in Amsterdam was originally built in 1615, only to be used as an orphanage in 1681. Now it has been redesigned by NiceMakers in 2015. How light moves through this house was studied closely before it was designed, and the studio settled on designing it with 5 PM in mind, the time when a family is coming home from work and school, hoping to find a cozy and comfortable place to relax.
