--OH! tl;dr WHY ISN'T THE MOONSTONE EVOLVING MY NIDORAN...? So. I have a Nidoran(f), and of course in my recent re-flaring of Pokemonic obsession, I'm back to playing Pearl, and while trying to defeat the League enough times to buy the Gorgeous Royal Ribbon for my Mismagius (because I was so eager with poffins/contests when I first started that I gave her mediocre poffins, thinking they were the best things ever, and her sheen is now only 90% what if could be and I can't fix that, despite making like LEVEL 30 POFFINS these days, so I want to get her the ribbon as compensation... DX} it's pathetic really. but it's a goal that's fun to work towards and helps me train/evolve/EV-train weak pokemon while leveling them up quickly...) yeah i kinda tend to pamper my pokemon. (Comes from real-life - my pets are all highly spoiled and very well cared for too. UwU ) ...*cough* Anyways... The point is that I keep going back to the Elite Four, and while doing so I'm trying to complete my Pokedex, because an Exp. Share makes evolution so much less time-consuming when all I want is the dex number filled... ^^";; So I want this Nidoran(f) to evolve. But I'm standing here in front of the PC box, in the Pokecenter of Solacean Town, trying to use the moonstone I dug up from the Underground. But it says "unable" and "It won't have any effect." Uhhhhm... But. o`_o;; Do I have to be somewhere special to use it...? Mt. Coronet maybe...? I have no idea why this isn't working, this has never happened before.... (Also, forgive me if I'm missing something stupid, but I checked on Serebii and all it said was "use a moonstone". I was born into the Pokemon World in Gen II and eight-year-old me never completed the Johto Pokedex, let alone had to deal with Kanto Pokemon, so this is... entirely new to me...)
