Had a client call us, asking for advice. She's had nearly a dozen doves and pigeons drop dead on her property. 90% of her goats have kidded stillbirths. She's already called the county and animal control about the dead birds but..... they don't care because it's "just pigeons".

so many popular tumblr funny posters are like violently aphobic and have been for years and have never disavowed those beliefs or continue to post about them to this day and it’s always a little ice cold thrill of terror and nausea down my spine to see people constantly reblogging posts from them and wondering like do they not know or do they just not care. they probably don’t know, not everyone checks the op URLs of posts or remembers what someone’s done, but as someone who was victimized extensively during ‘the ace discourse years’ there are some usernames you just never forget.
so its like now you’re left with the choice, right? do you message someone who’s a friend or mutual and hope they care and won’t yell at you or sneer at the idea that anyone could care about that or lecture you about policing them or expecting them to know every url of everyone on this site or do you just sit there continuing to wonder if this person you’re possibly close to continues to endorse the abuse and trauma your community has suffered and continues to suffer from these people.
Just had a terrible thought...I was reading a fic where the Paladins came back to Earth and the US got a new president. I then imagined a nightmare scenario in which they come back to Earth and Donald Trump is the President. I personally would just let the Galra have Earth. Like somehow this is worse than season 8. This is what I get for reading at four in the morning.
