I need to turn my brain off while reading fanfiction cause I was reading a Hollanov fic where they get married in Las Vegas and the timeline would not line up with when gay marriage was legalized in Nevada. Unless I'm wrong. Cause it's 2014 and the awards are in June and gay marriage wasn't legal until October. Also if you're curious Canada legalized it in 2005. But yeah my brain needs to shut up.
