You can't escape him. He's a creation of Asmoday who can bring you back with a flick of his hand, trap you in red cubes, and boom—you're in front of him AGAIN.

(You know, like in the game where you get teleported back to him if you try to leave the battle area.)

He could probably just lock you up, like a caged animal in a zoo—just like his master did to the various mortals imprisoned in the Temple of Space.

But hey, he WOULDN'T do that, would he?

Because he doesn’t need to.

The entire world is his domain.

He grants you "freedom" to roam across Teyvat, but that freedom is nothing more than an illusion. As a Watcher, he is always observing—whether through your own eyes or from a higher plane beyond your reach.

He even “gifts” you a companion like Dex, claiming it is for your protection. In truth, Dex is merely an extension of Nihilita himself. It records your every word, monitors your heartbeat, and observes every interaction you have.

But don't worry. He merely wishes to ensure that you remain safe ♡

Puppets with their strings cut as their creator left them behind. Falling down to the mortals. Or trying to keep up their creators wishes or what they perceive as their wishes. Even though it leads you down a spiral of destruction and opposes what you wanted to preserve. What are the Watchers and the Ruler of space but another version to the Raiden Family and the puppets they created.
