Aww adorable! And wow, congrats, that is quicker than I thought! Now I understand your desire to create something new a bit more, too :)
Haha, well it’s been 3 years since I started the game so it’s not thaaaat quick! I made the monetary goals MUCH harder to reach for myself so that it’d be more of a challenge. I’m not sure what I’ll do once the “challenge” part is officially complete but I tentatively assume I’ll switch the Warwickshire set of rules.
And then yes, of course, the “something new” is in the back of my mind. But I also want to see the lives of this game play out as well, since I am quite attached, so we shall see!

And, how did they earn that much to pay $9000 in taxes? That's a ton!
Robin got a monetary Perk from the Smithy business, so they had quite the windfall!

Lucciola is so cute!
She is definitely something, I just imagine a small Robin in a dress stumping around the village and can’t stop laughing.
Replies, the God edition.
I promise that I’m not going to talk about this stuff a lot, though now I’m kinda thinking that I do want that sideblog, if only just to get down all my own thoughts in writing, which has always helped me to sort of mentally organize things. But, I did want to reply to a couple replies and also paste in some nonnie replies, so that I can get ‘er all done in one (long, of course *eyeroll*) post. I also apologize for not tagging previous posts as non-sims, for those who block such posts. In my defense, I’d gotten in from a night out and was in that “tired, but not quite tired enough to sleep” place, and in that place I get kind of spacey and careless. So I’ve fixed that.
So, anyway, replies for @snarkysims and @nimitwinklesims as well as two anons who sent me asks are behind the cut...

Thank you. I really love the Alpine background, and it is perfect for this ‘hood!

Aww, such a cute toddler! WCIF the pot she's playing with?
She is adorable! Easily one of my favourite toddlers. The pot she is playing with is part of a set by Javiera, available here. There are recolours of the Charisma cup and the logic toy over at Hat’s Dreamwidth, if you’re interested. I think the toys are as follows: Body- BV crab, Charisma- cup, Cooking- pot, Cleaning- pot, Creativity- book, Mechanical- fire truck, Logic- hobby toy.

Funny you say that! the Worshipers of Eostre will be getting a Stave Church!

squeezleprime replied to your photoset “And this eventful round with the wood choppers is at its end!”
I've had wood choppers make a little more than this, but I guess sickness cut into business earnings?
They actually earned $1,021 in seasonal income from the farm gate business, but did bring in $2,988 in diggables and business rewards (I only let the Sims in this ‘hood collect one money business reward per round, even if they can get more). They didn’t do too bad, but there is room for improvement!

Congratulations! So nice seeing all of it together. Now that I know the church island exists, it's so fun to spot it in these photo's!
Thank you! I love seeing pictures of other people’s neighborhoods, especially when you can see how all of the lots fit together.

Is your Persian 'hood developing alongside this one at more or less the same rate? Do you have plans for trade between them in the future? (If they are in the same universe?)
I have three neighborhoods that are part of the same universe. My main ’hood is Eowerrania (Anglo-Saxon), and the two sub ‘hoods are Kaayven (Viking) and Jerarevia (Persian). Each has their own regional varieties of fruit, vegetables, herbs, spices, livestock and wild game. The end aim is to attach a themed sub ’hood linked to each of the main ‘hoods, and eventually start trade when each ‘hood has traveled enough. More information about the set up of this ‘hood can be found here at PBK (Registration required).

Thanks! It took a bit of time to get it looking right (and I have no idea if it is playable), but I had fin building it and I’m pleased with how it turned out!

They certainly are, and this is one family where lots of boys would have been helpful. They are cute, though. I can’t wait to play them, they look like heaps of fun!

Wow so cool! Tell me more! :D Do you have a lot of supernaturals living here? I love the idea of it being in a crater and that explaining cool and crazy and weird and magical stuff happening. So is the lake (zooming out a little) in the centre of the crater? .....game-wise, how did you make the military base have a desert terrain? with those NH terrainpaint blocks? it looks amazing with the clouds and the desert backdrop! I hope you don't mind all the questions :D
Yep, there definitely will be a lot of supernaturals, especially amongst the “locals”! I actually started that neighborhood because I wanted explore playing with supernatural lifestates as I’ve almost never played with those before :’D so your inference was very correct. The lake is actually at the south bottom of the crater: you can see the zoomed out picture of it from here.
And for how I did that desert terrain: Yeah you guessed right too that I used those NH decal thingies as a base, but I actually made my own default for them as I didn’t find anything suitable already done. There’s also third climate present as well as I used greener “paint” around the lakeshore to make it seem more tropical (and then I tried to use tropical plants on those beach lots) but it’s not that obvious :P
Thank you so much for your nice words (I’m still blushing here) and general interest, I really like answering these kind of questions :3

Those kids know they're cool.
They sure do!! They’ve become neighborhood friends kinda autonomously and I love it. They’re definitely the ones that organize all of the kickball matches at the park.
nimitwinklesims replied to your photo “My second terrain to share with y’all – Elska (1.0)! Same as Moorcliff...”
Yeah, you'd need to share your N00X folder in order to share the changes that you made in TS2. Which you can always choose to do, but I find that it is also fun to really make a terrain your own after you've downloaded it... :)
Beautiful! <3
THANK YOU <3 I didn’t know that about the N00x folder -- but I totally agree with you, the in game tweaks are more of a personal stylistic thing.

Thank you! And wow, I don’t know what to say ♥ I’m glad you started a simblr! :D
The fields in the centre of the hamlet are shared. On the bottom right, you can see a farm field owned by the manor lord (they are in the stone house with the two wings). It's tilled by the teenage boys of the peasantry. Which, they mind less because the manor lord household consists for a large part of pretty teenage girls...
(Yes, when I rolled for the families, for the gentry I ended up with 3 teen girls and a few children and toddlers!)
Also also, I built a chapel.
I think medieval chapels are some of the prettiest things that a landscape can have, so of course I always have to make one. I'm not religious, but the architecture and history interests me.
