Dragon Quest Easter Egg in Dragon Ball Daima!?

During the explanation of the Third Evil Eye's power and it's use by the Supreme Demon Kings of the past they show us the silhouettes of various Demon Kings. And the last one has a very peculiar silhouette.

And that's because it's almost identical to the most famous and most powerful Archfiend in all Dragon Quest series:

ZOMA

Which considering that both series where drawn by Akira Toriyama it's kind of makes sense, to be honest. And it's a pretty cool Easter Egg.

Now, I won't be able to not think that Zoma owes it's power to a magical artifact.

I would also like to take this opportunity to point out another similarity with another big bad from Dragon Quest: Nimzo and Demon King Piccolo.

After many years Daima has confirmed/retcon that the Namekians are truly demons and not aliens, returning the link with the Archfiend from Dragon Quest V, Nimzo, who looked strongly like a Namekian, especially after seeing the inmense magical power that Neva seems to hold.

It won't be fair not to show love to the cats that work behind the boards. Cats whose soundscapes help push hip-hop to loft heights. So in the same vein, this weekly list sheds light on budding and even established producers who continue to push the envelope for the culture. So sit back relax and

I hate it when I make so many headcanons that they end up contradicting each other or even canon without me even realizing it.

Like, I used to headcanon that Murdaw was Nimzo's child... until I realized that DQVI marks the birth of the Zenith Dragon, and, in my headcanon, Estark was born AFTER the Zenith Dragon was... meaning that the Secret of Evolution was created sometime between DQVI and DQIV.

But Murdaw was IN DQVI and Nimzo could not have used the Secret of Evolution to become a monster until AFTER DQVI. 

So now Nimzo and Murdaw are completely unrelated, despite looking VERY similar. But hey, that gives rise to my other headcanon that I earlier couldn't really do anything with... and that's that Murdaw learned Illusion magic from Magarugi. So now I can just right out headcanon that Murdaw was adopted by Magarugi. So y'know... it's not ALL bad.

Not to mention given my headcanon that the user of the Secret of Evolution’s view of power does have some effect on what it turns you into, I MIGHT be able to have Nimzo’s human self be terrified by Murdaw’s power and turn into a kinda similar looking being.

I don’t know, it’s still all a work in progress. But I’m getting there!
