I had a great time celebrating Nino Franco’s 100th birthday. At a century-old, they're one of the oldest producer’s in Valdobbiadene, the area where some of the most prized D.O.C.G Prosecco is made. After grilling up dinner, dessert consisted of a delicious birthday cake and a flute filled with the winery’s Rustico—a very satisfying 'Under $20' sparkler that was recently selected as the #1 pick for @WineEnthusiast’s Top 100 Enthusiasts Wines for 2019.
