So, I found the YouTube channel for Galaxy Gas and...

Yeah, they're trying to market their product as something you can use to make whipped cream and Nitro Cold Brew, even though we all know it's not being used for that.

afternoon coffee & dessert @ DOSC

After lunch at Jack's, DQ & I headed to DOSC for afternoon sweets~

I recommended this place - sadly, it was a disappointment. It has been a long time since I've been here. I suggested it bcos they had coffee & a small pastry menu. Looks like the desserts/pastries are completely gone. Although still a cafe on one side of the restaurant & a restaurant/bar on the other, the cafe only serves beverages now.

So we were seated & given this menu : (

Not what we were looking for but. .. *shrugs* you know that awkward situation when you wanna leave but you're already seated & water has been brought to your table? Thankfully, there was ONE item that somewhat resembled a 'dessert' lol & that was the buttermilk hot cakes.

This was it o_O

For those that have a sweet tooth, THIS IS IT! But for me, . .. just no-no. Wayyyyy too sweet. The pancakes were sooooo soft & soaked. The part I liked the most were the dry crumbs . That, & the condensed milk! I did not expect condensed milk. Ahhh too sweet & soggy!

I also ordered the nitro cold brew. You know, now that I have better understanding of coffee beverages. .. this did not pass as a nitro cold brew =( therefore it was disappointment as well. Nitro cold brew should have a microfoam layer on top, kind of like beer. The idea in terms of production is very similar to beer. Anyway, mediocre =/

If I came by myself, I don't think I would have been quite as upset but bcos I recommended it to DQ, I internally felt bad bcos it didn't live up to the expectations. Sorry >.< !!

New Belgium’s Nitro Cold Brew Cream Ale (Picked up at Trader Joe’s). A 3 of 4.  Pretty mild nose, but some faint coffee and roast notes are present. Takes a vigorous pour to get your typical nitro cascade and lingering head. Great nitro body and a really nice complexity to the coffee. Some lighter roast notes, faint fruity qualities, and quite a lot going on as you continue sipping. Giving the lower ABV, this is a really nice sessionable beer if you like coffee.
