It is a matter for concrete demonstration. The truth, when it is discovered, of one man’s life may call the bluff of countless philosophical mystifications.

Dear Gus,

It’s been a long day, but a good one. As is tradition, we went to Beverly & Gary’s to celebrate the Fourth of July with swimming and ribs and tennis. We usually rush off from there to go to Floyd, but since Mum passed away, we went home and took a nap. You were out for three hours before we woke you up to go meet John, Angela, and Johnny at the North Little Rock airport, where John works as a helicopter pilot. John’s sisters’ families also joined us. It was a perfect way to celebrate the day, away from the crowd, but out in the open where we could still see the fireworks in Sherwood.

Last night I had the biggest scare… Tumblr accidentally terminated my account and I thought I had lost my entire blog. Luckily, after a terrible night of almost no sleep, this morning my account had magically been restored!
