The girl in the picture , isn’t any happier than the woman in the mirror

But she was free

And it was hers

All of it , everything

The highs , the lows

If fandom is an infinite field belonging simultaneously to everyone and no one, then your safe space in that fandom is the house you build there, where you can decide who to let in or not, and construct and change it according to your own tastes.

You will never claim ownership over the whole field, never have the authority to remove the houses other people have built there that you don't like. Never be able to forbid people from building.

Just your own house is yours.
