im actually obsessed with devon and rylee but not in a romantic way. in every way but a romantic way. in a normal-teenage-sports-playing-boy and jedi-who-fought-in-a-war becoming friends way. he can’t believe his dad shot at the empire and she had her life destroyed by the empire. she’s having a life changing internal crisis and after this episode he might be too. neither of his parents are showing him that he’s their priority and it damn well could be the hardest thing he’s ever gone through. shes incredibly casual with being bitchy to his dad. she’s running for her life fighting so fucking coolly and he’s huffing and puffing after her. they both deserve better. devon at her heart is still trained to protect and that also applies to the weird cops son. rylee barely has any clue what’s going on and is still trying to make sure she’s okay. i need to see next episode NOW i love them. no romance just awkward teenagers with vastly different lives who both deserve a friend.
