Getting’ sick of your shit ducky
LCHF
Going back to my last post, I recently asked my doctor what he recommends I do to lose weight since it’s been such a pain in the ass to try and do so and he recommended I try a low carb diet.
I’ve been really looking into the whole thing and have seen some really awesome success stories from it.
I think the only problem would be trying to find the energy to get up every day to exercise. ( I do mean EVERYDAY ) My goal is to lose some weight by my next doctor appointment in August. Gives me some time.
Spent four hours Saturday at a dance party! Where did I NOT spend four hours? Eating bread
Any amount of br**d is a surplus
We are in a dance party CRISIS!!!!!! Massive shortages! Something must be done
You think this is a game?
Today someone asked me why my phone autocorrects "bread" to "dance parties"
Day 3 - 8th Jan 16
Had a somewhat off week so far regarding sleep - back in work doing earlies and a couple of late night really didn’t help the levels of tiredness, but I got to bed about 9.30 last night asnd slept straight through till 5.50 this morning and am feeling a bit more caught up.
However, this lack of sleep, coupled with a lack of caffiene, makes for a very tired me! I have given up sugar, bread, carbs generally, but also caffiene as I think I have overdone it as it generally has the opposite effect on me these days. It makes me sleepy instead of awake so that means my body needs some SERIOUS resetting - so I am just gonna have to ride it out and wait for my body to stop being reliant on the stuff and get back to its normal rhythm.
It can take up to 2 weeks to fully get rid of the after effects and withdrawl symptoms of caffiene out of your system, and given the sheer amount I used to consume in a day, I am getting a horrible sinking feeling that it will probably hit me quite hard next week sometime.
Generally though, things are going quite well on our new lifestyle regime - we got a NUTRI NINJA and it is the most impressive blender my eyes ever did see! I have had to order some extra cups for it though as the Mrs really likes it too, and as it only came with one big cup, this a problem when it comes to us both working lol. They should be here soon though so, problem solved! :D
We have both stuck to our eating plans, and I think I am starting to notice some benefits, even only on my third day into it! My hunger levels have dropped significantly, my energy - even though it is low at the moment - is seemingly more consistent, I am actually enjoying it more this time around and this is probably due to the fact that I have done it a bit more smarter than last time, so we are coming up with some good recipes and more satisfying meals.
I just really want to lose a load of weight before our holiday as that is my motivating factor just now, but when we get back from holiday, nothing is going to change! This change is for life, not just because we are going somewhere sunny for a week - I am gonna be slimmer and stronger as it is my dream. I am following that dream and nothing is gonna stop me this time!
