The steady patter of rain meant an indoor wedding.
Ian stood by the tall library windows, between the history and religious sections, fidgeting.
The double doors opened. The guests gasped. Viviette stunned in her French gown and veil embroidered with satin stitch.
Ian held his breath.
Viviette and the Duke passed the poetry section, gliding elegantly.
When they passed science, two bridesmaids appeared, carrying her train.
When they passed fiction, Mickey finally came into view, closing the doors behind them.
That smile of relief unique to a groom seeing his love proceed up the aisle finally spread across Ian’s face.

“Damn!” V’s eyes widened. “Well, then let’s get you both inside. I’m sure the Grand Enchanter will make time to speak with you. And don’t forget to visit the forge. Kevin will be so glad to see you!”
