You know what I find really funny as someone who was into MLP at the height of Bronydom?

The IDW comics were bronybait galore and tried everything to make as many ideas for the MLP fandom to go wild over (in part because they knew full damn well they were playing second fiddle to the show's canon and anything they did was probably gonna be retconned anyways) and almost none of it actually caught on in the fandom aside from Nightmare Rarity, the King Sombra backstory they did, the vampire fruit bat mane six designs and sometimes ponies of dark water.

My quest to watch DS9 has been thwarted by Life, School, Work, and The Unrelenting Urge To Rewatch Shows Instead Of Try New Ones, but I am now forcing myself to watch at least an episode. Killing Eve ends with Eve remaining as much as a blank slate as far as her backstory goes as she was in the beginning. Not one of the four head writers gave us any insights into who Eve Polastri was. We know more about Villanelle, Carolyn, and even Konstantin's family and history than anything about Eve. Why is that? Was it because of racism? There's a strong argument to be made that yes, it absolutely was.
