I’ve fallen into the abyss that is rare pairs with very little *cough* none *cough* content (from what I can find) so here I am.
When Nova joins the Renegades, Ruby immediately likes her and takes her under her wing to show her the ropes.
Nova doesn’t mind because it gives her an advantage
So Ruby teams up with Nova during patrol and training and they grow pretty close
Nova goes through the whole “fuck I’m falling for a Renegade” thing she goes through with Adrian
They first kiss sometime in Archenemies. Maybe Ruby takes her for a walk in the park after her brother’s competition thing.
They go to the gala together and get to spend more time together before the whole Ace and infiltrating HQ thing happens.
When Ruby find out that Nova was Nightmare, she feels really betrayed and had a hard time processing it.
She doesn’t even want to be around Nova when she gets out of Cragmoor because she feels really guilty.
And she feels even worse when she finds out that she was right the whole time.
But she realizes that Nova was abused her whole life and so instead of blaming her for everything like the Council, she helps her heal and it just there for her.
She’s a good girlfriend.
Onto some not plo focused stuff—
Nova loves Ruby’s hair. She loves the colors. She loves playing with it. She’ll sometimes spend hours playing with it and tries to get Ruby to try out new colors.
Ruby agrees, but instead of dying just her hair they end up dying both of their hair, so the next day Nova has like. Green hair, and Ruby has purple hair or something.
Everyone is very confused but doesn’t question it
They train together. They’ll either spar or watch the other train and cheer them on or just panic because “woah okay that’s my girlfriend”
At some point they move into their own apartment and it’s pure chaos. Like it’s just the two of them, but everything is a mess and no one knows how to get around.
