PV arriving at the Spire and being turned into a toddler because evil toddler SM wants a play mate.

EP 7&8 is just them playing with blocks and SM showing PV all of his bunny stuffies.

PV does awaken and reaches out his hand for friendship as in canon but the difference is that he did enjoy their time together in the little headspace. "We can be babies together Shadow Milk"

And then SM ofc crashes out because they're not playing the game like how he wants to play the game.
