All of us just happen to be very lucky that we were able to become permanent residents of this country but at some point in our past, we were illegal here and just happen to have had the opportunities that not everybody else has. We, immigrants, are a hard-working group of people, with our hearts full of compassion and love. A group with hopes and dreams just like anybody else in this country and a group that would do anything to make this country a better place. So before you go judging somebody by their last name, by their status in this country, the color of their skin, their accent. Try to live one day in the life of an immigrant.
